Although the mantra of hands face space' will undoubtedly be part of our ongoing program, it's clear that the confidence building is evident and connections between face-to-face are happening. However, the nature of Rotary has evolved. As we move into this summer, the level of uncertainty about whether Rotary will give the same kind of connection that Rotary members experienced in the past continues. It is not clear if the mantra "hands face space" will become part of the routine however, it is clear there's an increase in faith and determination to meet face-to-face. But Rotary has changed. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting friendships. We have sharpened up our methods of holding meeting online for business as well as reintroducing activities for service and social using a friendly face-toface approach. To create an exciting new future, we've seized the new possibilities and merged these with the most efficient pre-pandemic practices. In a recent Rotary survey, we were encouraged to learn that about 75% of clubs have started organizing their activities routine activities" The warmer months saw many of our members out and about focussing on projects such as beaches and rivers being cleaned, trash picking, and of course providing ongoing services to society from Rotary volunteers who volunteer their time and energy to help COVID testing and vaccination centers.
